J. MAYER h. architects have completed 2 out of 20 highway rest stops design for Georgia.

The head of Department of Georgia commissioned j. MAYER h., a system of 20 for the new highway, to design an artery that runs through Georgia, and acts as a liaison between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey. I am now done two rest stops, while a third is currently under construction. The new rest stops are located on selected scenic vantage points along the route and serve as activators for their environment and nearby towns, including not only close supermarket, but also a farmer’s market, petrol and a cultural space for local art and crafts.
