Basically the box is built on the platform, the New York house features a simple concrete wall, nearly no-wall windows and flat roof is finished with travertine, providing a large rooftop deck for viewing the Hudson River below. The roof cantilevers 10 ft on each side, resembling a table supported by 10 “feet,” so a shady haven is always accessible. Floor to ceiling walls of glass flood the minimalist interior with daylight, increase the sense of space and light.
