This is modern ski cabin designed by AKB (AtelierKastelicBuffey), and is located in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada. This is a second home to a family of six, providing a peaceful retreat and recreational pursuits just outside the front door. Inspired by local barns in the surrounding area, the chalet’s reductive, monolithic form sits comfortably within the landscape. The open concept house plan features a stunning double-height living area soaring up to the gabled roof. I like that it is an easy place for our friends to drop in for a visit. AKB
