Impressive Bus Shelter in Daroca, Spain by Sergio Sebastián

This is an impressive bus shelter, that combine function with aesthetics. Designed by Sergio Sebastián Arquitecto, located in Daroca, medieval city located in the province of Zaragoza, Spain.

According to the designer, “the intervention builds a piece that greets visitors arriving at Daroca, providing a single image in a peripheral environment that has nothing to do with the beauty of the medieval town. The shelter is generated from two very marked and heavy planes, ground and cover, which build a comfortable space whose section is opened from the lying area to the landing of the bus. This space is bounded laterally by wooden filters that generate the necessary equipment for the wait -umbrellas, benches and signs-, lattices that outline the space but do not prevent understanding in continuity with the public space of the ride“.
