George Patterson Y & r HASSELL
HASSELL created the internal Office for George Patterson Y & r in Melbourne, Australia.
Description of HASSELL:
Short and calls a ‘ Studio ‘ Office, which reflects the creative team of George Patterson Y & R (and its commercial activities) while still a practical modern offices. Several areas of work were required, presentation rooms and informal living areas of formal cooperation and workstations.
Stripping this building back in early ‘ 900 was fantastic as an iconic boutique department store-was seen gloria-in the heart of our approach to this project. Industry and retail trade are the first two steps Office space. The building itself is characterised by wide open spaces and cultural heritage such as architectural columns in Victorian style, a glass-enclosed atrium on stage three and heights between three and six metres.
Our main challenges were spreading out a modest budget over a large area and in a space that was originally designed as a workstation. One of the challenges of the project were but problematic for consistent heating, cooling and lighting-beautiful high-ceilinged from design point of view.
These distribution problems meant decades of additions, the attractiveness of the building we tried we obstructed Remove and paste items, free from buildings and architecture stand. This approach minimizes costly construction and at the same time allowing internal character heritage stands proudly on its own.
The items were delivered as a series of answers to customer’s needs based on furniture. This response used the shelves and floor surfaces rather than defining walls defined spaces.
The result is a functional yet creative design that can penetrate into the room without light, inhibited by walls or other divisions and detachable furniture systems offer long-term flexibility within the area, ensure the lowest cost life cycle. He was also the team GPY & r can use of space, while the work was done.
